Winter 2011
Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is settling in for a little rest
this winter. We've turned the horses out for a little downtime.
If you come visit, we'll have to jump in the truck and find them
on about 120 acres.
LittleWood Rio Bravado and his daughter LittleWood Chinook
both went to OKC this year. Chinook came home 3rd in the
World Ch Snaffel/Hackamore division. Both horses ran well,
now if I could keep MY act together!
2012 might find Pepper staying home as we focus on showing the younger horses and encouraging the children. We'll have Chinook, Inside Strait, and Toblerone in the trailer which is plenty for me to keep sorted out.
We've been really proud of kids and horses this past year. I'm not sure which was more thrilling, watching Moira show to the Walk/Jog Championship after a tough warm-up, or watching Martin run a very nice pattern in the Novice Reining on Pepper. Great Mama moments!!
There's a little rumpr that Chinook finished 2nd overall in the 4 &under division of the Snake River Reining Association. Not confirmed yet. So proud of her since she is in her first year of showing. What a fun little horse. She is available for purchase. Chinook is a talented, energetic little mare, without the nonsense. Very suitable for a rider that wants speed and power without the issues.
The other horses on the sale list at this time are LittleWood Inside Strait, 3 yo buckskin gelding, and Stagetime's First Image, 9 yo gelding. Both of these boys are BIG. Call for details.
