Winter 2010
We are ready to start riding here, just wish Ol'Man Winter would give us a few more nice days!
2010 is going to be a great year here at the ranch. We will be on the show trail this year with LittleWood Chinook, a 3 year old filly sired by LittleWood Rio Bravado and out of the very nice mare, Shauni's Whispering Wind, LittleWood Toblerone, and of course LittleWood Rio Bravado. Our first stops are planned for the Snake River Reining Alliance shows in Kuna, starting March 20th. Then we are planning to return to the Far West Morgan show for the Reining, Trail and Dressage classes. The summer will find us at extreme trail events like the ones hosted by Eastern Slope Ranch and the Idaho Trail Challenge. Fianlly, we hope to make it to the Morgan Grand National in Oklahoma in October. It's going to be a busy year!
We are offering the discounted breedings to LittleWood Rio Bravado again this year. Until May 31st, you can bring your mare over for $350. For another great deal, you can get a half price breeding to LittleWood Rio Bravado from the National Morgan Reining Assoc, if your foal is a registered morgan, it would then be eligble for the futurity class later. Check out their website for details. www.nmrha.com
On the For Sale list, we only have LittleWood Chinook (I hope I get to keep her long enough to show her), and LittleWood Sorpressa. 'Pressa is a morgan/pony cross, full sister to LittleWood Trena. Both girls are started under saddle.
Sadly we lost both PRM Katrina and Miss Agifield Ann this past winter. The pasture is a little emptier without them.
