Don't miss out! Our Spring special will end 5/31/09!Spring 2009
Shauni's Whispering Wind just presented us with a lovely little bay filly. She is called Willow in rememberance of the late Don Pruitt of Willowrun Morgans. We will miss our friend and mentor. Willow is delicately built with a nice shoulder and hip, no white. We are waiting for PRM Katrina's foal and that will be all for this year.LittleWood Sorpressa has started in training. She is a pony cross sired by LittleWood Rio Bravado. She is a full sister to Trena, and if possible, even prettier and better natured than Trena. She will be available later this spring/early summer.
We have decided to focus on our reining and trail competitions this year, as such we will spend more time at open shows, as too many of the breed shows are not offering reining divisions (including Far West).
The whole family is planning to join the fun at the 2WF Morgan Club's annual Ft Rob ride in late August. We can't wait to meet everybody! For information on the ride, visit the club's website.
We have donated a breeding to the Morgan Reining Horse Association's Sire and Dam program, which can be purchased from the NMRHA for 1/2 the regular fee. The proceeds support the reining divisions at Grand National and other NMRHA programs. Also, in reflection of our current economy, until the end of May 2009, Pepper's stud fee is reduced to $350, morgan, non-morgan, and grade mares welcome. Let's all hang in there and keep our horse economy healthy.
